Our AI Adoption Day

On May 6, 2026, We partnered with Global AI Adoption Day to mobilize Canadians and promote inclusive participation in the future of artificial intelligence. Through this global initiative, we helped raise awareness, encourage AI learning and adoption, and ensure Black communities are part of Canada’s growing AI ecosystem.

Our policy report highlights the barriers Black communities continue to face in accessing, shaping, and benefiting from artificial intelligence in Canada. It also presents practical recommendations to advance equity, strengthen Black leadership and economic opportunity, improve access to AI skills and innovation, and support the development of more inclusive and responsible AI systems.

We are inviting experienced leaders in artificial intelligence, technology, public policy, research, education, finance, and community development to join our National Advisory Council on Inclusive AI and Black Innovation. Council members will provide strategic guidance, strengthen partnerships, and help advance Black leadership in Canada?s AI future.
